Yesterday was one of those lovely serendipitous days on the good old inter-blog-o-web thingy. I was following a couple of interesting conversations on Twitter – one about how 140 characters can be a bit frustrating, or could encourage people to be more precise, and another about whether or not Twitter was valuable for CPD. Why is that serendipitous? Well, on that very same day, juliewatt introduced me to Mobatalk, when I saw her tweet about it. Never one to miss a digital opportunity thrown at me, I went and had a look.

Simplicity really – what it allows you to do is record a short bit of video and audio using your webcam and microphone and it sends it to your twitter feed. You can also download the video as an mp4 file from the site if you wish. I’ve seen other tools that do this kind of thing – seesmic springs instantly to mind, but the thing I love about Mobatalk is how simple it is.

I’ve done one about my thoughts on SLF08 – if you were at SLF08 how about sharing your thoughts too? Maybe you could tag it SLF08 (instead of how I tagged mine? – ooops)
